B-E-A-U-tiful morning. Starting temp was dead on the 50-degree mark – because no more beatdowns in the 40s. After yesterday’s rain, the AO was dry and ready for business.
WARM-UP — Micheal Phelps and Arm Circles while we reviewed the 5 F3 Principles – Always free, Open to all men, Always outside, Peer-led, Ends in a circle of trust.
Frankensteins & Grass Grabbers in cadence got the legs moving.
Merken Name-O-Rama – started the Merken train and we continued to practice names with Walk-Out Burpees (from this point forward known as Worpees).
For just a little more group action, we set up for a round of Dominoes with Decline Plank as the starting position. We alternated between one arm planks and Derkens for a couple of minutes of Dominoes.
Little mosey to our 2nd favorite hill and the THANG was on:
Today’s THANG involved the ‘running’ of a hill with your base PAX at the bottom otherwise engaged awaiting the return of his hill PAX.
Round 1 – Hill PAX – Power Skips/Base PAX Catalina Wine Mixers (these were the joy of the morning) — repeat 3 times
BREAK – Ode to OG – his gift for running his mouth on Slack last night – Partner Burpees – starts by dropping down into the Squat Jack position, drop for the Burpee and complete the Merken, holding the plank slap hands with your partner, finish the Burpee with the jump and clap (no clap, no Burpee) – each break included 5 Partner Burpees
Round 2 – Hill PAX – Sprints/Base PAX Jumping Lunges— repeat 3 times
BREAK
Round 3 – Wheelbarrows – 1 PAX climbed up the hill, switched to come down
BREAK
Round 4 – Hill PAX – Lunges/Base PAX Sprinter Abs — repeat 3 times
No BREAK – Made for This, by Carrollton – High Knees until we hear the phrase Made for This then we dropped for a Coach Sherrill (Grass drill – think Burpee with no jump and clap at the end)
Round 5 – Hill PAX – Bear Crawl up & down/Base PAX Plank Jacks — repeat 3 times

Round 6 – Wheelbarrows – Switch roles to start – 1 PAX climbed up the hill, switched to come down

Round 7 – Hill PAX – Reverse Sprint up & down/Base PAX Burpees — repeat 3 times

Round 8 – Hill PAX – Karaoke/Base PAX Herkens — repeat 3 times
Total of 20 trips up and down the hill
